At Urban Anglers USA, we like to share anything and everything on the topic of urban angling. If you ever find yourself in one of the biggest cities on Earth, and have the urge to get a line wet, you need to do yourself a favor and check out the Brooklyn Fishing Club. These guys are the premier fishing club of NYC, connecting and serving the urban fishing community of Brooklyn and the surrounding area. From freshwater to salt, these guys are tight nit crew of fellow urban anglers that fish, preserve, and defend urban waterways.

Throwback to the first charter trip

The Brooklyn Fishing Club started as an Instagram page, and has now grown into a full club that organizes fishing trips, meet ups and competitions. The club members share fishing tips and tricks, as well as theirs friendships. You can always call up a fishing buddy to hit the city with you.

Over 500 striped bass landed as a club; 85% of fish were caught and released to help sustain the fishery. Those that weren’t were consumed.
